Ans. British offered no help to the Parsi cricket players, they were prejudiced in favour of their white compatriots. They showed some antagonist feelings towards parsi cricketers, as there was a quarrel between the Bombay gymkhana, a whites only club and parsi cricketers over the use of a public park.
2. What do you learn about Anglo Indian relations through the history of cricket in India?
Ans. The history of cricket of India shows that India was a colonized country under British who treated Indians in a subordinate way. British were prejudiced in favour of their white compatriots. They considered Indians lowly. This antagonism proved as a blessing in disguise for Indians.They built their own Gymkhanas and cricket clubs.
