1.Who has brought land in the village? Why?

Ans. 

Mr Paul had bought land in the village. Because he wanted to build a five star hotel, shopping complex, swimming pool, health club and golf course.

2. How would the hotel benefit the villagers.

Answer:

The hotel would benefit the village as it would provide jobs for the villagers. The tourists who would come to stay in it will pour into the village bringing prosperity to the people.

3. Why did the villagers not want the hotel? Specify the effect it would have on.

Answer:

 The villagers did not want the hotel because the builders were painning to pull down the temple.

(a). Wildlife:- It would have drastic effects on wildlife as it would destroy the habitat of wild animals.

(b).River:- Clean and sweet water of river will turn foul with filth.

(c).The mountain:-The mountain itself would be in great danger and will pose a serious  threat to life and property.

4. How did the mountain speak?

Answer:

 Mountain spoke enough for every one to hear. It caused landslides. Due to which led beneath it killing eleven people and leaving two children injured.
