Ans. He thought he would never fail if he knew their answers.
Q. 3. Why was the king advised to go to the magicians?
Ans. The magicians could help the king to look into the future.
Q. 4. Was the king satisfied with the answers of the wise men ?
Ans. No, the king was not satisfied with their answers.
Q.5. How did the king and the hermit help the wounded man?
Ans. They washed and dressed his wound, They gave him water to drink.
Q. 6. Who was the bearded man? Why did he ask for the king's forgiveness?
Ans. The bearded man was the king's enemy. He had come to kill the king. But the king saved his life. So the bearded man asked the king to forgive him.
Q.7. How did the king show his forgiveness?
Ans. The king promised to send his servants and his own doctor to look after the bearded .Thus he showed his forgiveness.
Q. 8. What answers did the hermit give to the three questions?
Ans. The hermit told the king that the most important time is 'now' when you have the power to act. The most important person is the person you are with that particular. And, the most important thing is to do good with that person.
